Research Interests:

My project involves the characterization of the siderophore pyoverdine from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I purify the molecule from cultures of the bacteria using reverse phase chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography, and further use the purified form for experiments in cytotoxicity.
